How to find us to either visit the Cattery
or collect a kitten
The Cats, Richard & I live in an old 200-year old Irish Cottage that we bought specifically to breed these Majestic Viking Cats. We are surrounded by countryside, on the Ards Peninsula in Co, Down.
Travelling from Ireland ?Quickest v Scenic
The quickest way to get here is to head for Belfast first, via main roads and Motorways, then Newtownards and come half-way down the coast to the Cottage.
The scenic route is via Downpatrick and come across on the 5 min sailing from Strangford to Portaferry and 17 mins up the coast to the Cottage.

This is a photo that we took of the Pet Lounge, aboard the Stenaline Ferry, which sails from Belfast to the Port of Cairnryan. Pets may remain in a vehicle for the 2/3 hour crossing... but If we are travelling as foot passengers with a Cat carrier (to meet some-one) we book the cat into this lounge. Pets stay in their carriers, right beside us...whilst we enjoy free tea/coffee during the crossing.
